Overview

This role will be based under the Crude Oil trading desk, working closely with senior traders to provide support in market analysis, backtesting strategies, and operational tasks. As you progress, you'll be actively involved in day-to-day trading, pricing, and executing derivative transactions while managing risk.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Learn and master our proprietary methodologies and trading systems to drive business growth.
  2. Making informed decisions in real-time to manage risk and optimize trade execution.
  3. Develop and maintain trading models, backtest new strategies, and conduct post-trade analysis.
  4. Foster strong relationships between trading teams, internal departments, and external partners.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in a trading firm or bank is preferred.
  • Prior experience with large data set programming projects using Python or other languages is desirable.
  • A degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, computer science, engineering, or a related field from a top-tier institution is required.
  • Strong understanding of financial derivatives and expertise in machine learning, data analysis, and statistical techniques is essential.
  • A passion for trading and markets is necessary to succeed in this role.
Salary & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
