CAD and Mechanical Principles Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking a Vocational Engineering Lecturer to join our team at Merton College. As an integral part of our education department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students.
">Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Teaching CAD and mechanical principles to students at various levels
- Developing and delivering curriculum materials that meet the needs of our students
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a degree in an appropriate subject, along with professional industry qualifications and/or experience in a related industrial environment. A teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one is also essential. Additionally, you must be able to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines and have good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills.
">Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a generous benefits package including 40 days annual leave, up to 8 additional days over Christmas/New Year, and an additional 5 days wellbeing leave. We also offer an excellent pension scheme, subsidised sports facilities, and professional development and training opportunities.
