Job Opportunity: Apprentice Business Development Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Business Development Manager. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the creation and progression of sales pipelines that target new clients and identify opportunities with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of sales strategies and tactics to drive business growth.
  • Assist in the creation of credential documents, proposals, and pitch presentations to support winning new business.
  • Contribute to market communications, including sector reports, online updates, and social media content.
  • Manage internal communications materials, including newsletters, Intranet articles, and sector reports.
  • Coordinate event management, including mailing list creation, invitations, program design, marketing, and liaison with suppliers/speakers.
  • Develop relationships with industry bodies to identify opportunities and sponsorships.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Enthusiastic, confident, and proactive approach.
  • Experience with copywriting and attention to detail for editing and proofreading.
  • Previous experience in a client-facing environment, particularly in events and proposals.

What We Offer:

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a starting salary up to £31,000 (dependent on experience) and a flexible hybrid working model.
