Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our team at Travis Perkins. As a key member of our branch management team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the smooth operation of our branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Branch Manager in managing all aspects of the branch, including sales, customer service, and operations.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Coach and develop a team of sales and customer service professionals to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ensure the branch is operating efficiently and effectively, with a focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other branch managers and the regional operations team to share best practices and drive business growth.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a sales or customer-facing role, preferably in a builders' merchant or similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting targets.
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
