Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Third Line Support Engineer to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd. As a Third Line Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support to our clients in the Aerospace and Defence sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer faults and network incidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage the installation and configuration of new system elements, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Test and commission new equipment and services, ensuring compliance with UK security requirements.
  • Ensure new services and systems meet UK security requirements, including managing obsolescence within the existing system.
  • Provide third-line support to operations teams, leveraging your expertise to resolve complex technical issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the design and delivery of IP communication networks, with Cisco accreditation preferred.
  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering Discipline, such as Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Satellite communications technology, with previous experience at a telecoms or satellite communication company a plus.

Security Clearance:
