Senior Design Health and Safety Specialist

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Building Design Partnership.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction risk management, with a strong background in design and health and safety. They will be responsible for providing expert advice on CDM Regulations 2015 and other health and safety regulations to our multi-disciplinary design teams and clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing CDM/PD support and advice to design teams and clients during the design and pre-construction stages of projects
  • Collaborating with design disciplines to plan, manage, and coordinate health and safety during the pre-construction stage
  • Sharing CDM knowledge across all professions and developing training programs for designers within the London studio and across BDP UK studios

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the construction industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Extensive experience in construction risk management and design health and safety
  • Thorough working knowledge of CDM 2015 Regulations and other health and safety regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office
