NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the assessment of care needs and evaluation of programs of care, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, developing and implementing effective care plans.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
- Postgraduate expertise within specialty/area of practice.
- Leadership skills to enable day-to-day management of service delivery.
- Excellent team working/leadership skills and ability to motivate others.
- Effective time management skills and working knowledge of basic information technology.
