Mental Health Nurse

About the Role:
NHS Scotland is seeking a qualified Mental Health Nurse to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support the mental health and well-being of children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and supportive therapeutic environment.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of the team's strategic plan.
Requirements:
- 1st level Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) or Registered Nurse with live NMC registration.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work using own initiative and without direct supervision in the context of agreed tasks.
- Positive attitude towards children and young people and knowledge of factors which impact on mental health and emotional well-being.
