We are seeking an experienced and visionary Estate Management Leader to guide the strategic and operational management of the College's estate. This pivotal role involves overseeing the development, maintenance, and efficient operation of all buildings, facilities, and grounds. The Estate Management Leader will ensure that the College's physical environment supports its educational mission and strategic goals, creating a safe, sustainable, and inspiring place to learn and work.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive estate management strategies aligned with the College's vision and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of building maintenance, repairs, and renovations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Manage a team of skilled professionals responsible for the day-to-day operation and upkeep of the estate.
  • Develop and implement sustainable practices to minimize the environmental impact of the College's operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including academic departments, student services, and finance, to ensure the effective utilization of estate resources.
Qualifications:
  • A relevant degree in estates management, facilities management, construction, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in a senior estates management role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Professional membership of a relevant body (e.g., RICS, IWFM).
  • Experience with modern building management systems and technologies.
  • Educated to a degree level (or equivalent)
  • Experience of Health and safety systems management in a large organisation
  • Has experience of operating over a number of sites.
