About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Lidl in Belfast. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing our store team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring seamless execution of sales and customer service strategies.
- Develop and implement plans to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase store efficiency.
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve exceptional results, providing coaching and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Maintain excellent shop floor presentation, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers.
- Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained, minimizing stockouts and overstocking.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role, preferably in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
- A passion for working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
- Full driving license and flexibility to work varying shift patterns.
What We Offer
Lidl offers a competitive salary, ranging from £28,000 to £37,000, depending on experience. You will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 29 days' holiday per annum, rising to 34 days after 2 years, and a company pension after 1 year. Additionally, you will have access to a range of employee discounts, including mobile and broadband discounts with Vodafone, and generous discounts at Circle K and other partner retailers.
