About the Role

FamGuard Group of Companies is seeking a highly skilled Senior Rendering Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our next-generation AAA game title. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for working closely with all disciplines to optimize the game engine and hardware, leveraging Unreal Engine 5 as the base platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Engine Lead and other discipline heads to maximize the potential of the engine and hardware
  • Own and deliver large-scale projects autonomously, ensuring timely and high-quality results
  • Mentor and support less experienced team members, promoting a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the quality of our work and drive innovation
  • Participate actively in our collaborative and creative team environment
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Engine or Rendering Engineer on multiple AAA titles
  • Extensive knowledge of modern and emerging gaming technologies and techniques
  • Expertise in multiple areas, with the ability to lead development and drive innovation
  • Strong C++ skills, including profiling, debugging, and optimizing code
  • Solid understanding of code architecture best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and effectively, with a strong focus on meeting scheduled goals
  • Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality results
  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or 5 on a AAA title
  • Experience mentoring other Engineers
  • Experience working on current-generation consoles
  • Experience working on open-world titles
