About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rendering Engineer to join our team at Playground Games. As a key member of our Content and Tech Art teams, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge rendering systems and techniques in our custom, proprietary engine.

Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality visuals and great rendering performance. You will work closely with the Content teams to empower them to create high-quality content, ensuring that rendering systems scale and perform well on all supported platforms.

We are looking for an expert Rendering Engineer who is passionate about their craft, skilled in AAA rendering techniques and performance optimization on console and PC, and has a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement state-of-the-art rendering systems and techniques
  • Maintain and extend existing rendering systems
  • Empower Content teams to create high-quality content
  • Ensure rendering systems scale and perform well on all supported platforms
  • Strong C++ and software architecture skills
  • Good knowledge of state-of-the-art rendering techniques and performance optimization on console
  • Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
  • A genuine passion for video games
