Job Title: Sports Coach Level 4

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coach Level 4 to join our team at Empowr-U. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the activity levels of Empowr-U within Coventry, making our organization a place that young people are engaged with.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Empowr-U activity schedule, ensuring that young people have a pathway to develop themselves.
  • Drive, steer, and deliver the organization in line with the strategic plan and KPIs set.
  • Ensure that Empowr-U values are applied to every session, every project, everywhere that we operate.
  • Recruit, nurture, and coordinate a team of volunteers to support the delivery of our programs.
  • Ensure that Empowr-U activities have an environment that children, young people, and communities can engage with.
  • Identify business opportunities, gaps in the market, or perceived needs of potential users.
  • Prepare equipment and session layout.
  • Develop and maintain a professional relationship with Empowr-U workforce, clients, and partners, as well as maintaining a professional public image.
  • Lead in activity development, personal development, and character development of 8-25 year olds.
  • Undertake the necessary CPD opportunities to improve the outcome and efficiency of resources.
  • Plan, promote, deliver, and evaluate Empowr-U activity sessions in Coventry and Warwickshire.
  • Support the management/development of all staff, apprentices, trainees, and volunteers.
  • Lead or assist with Empowr-U events and projects, dependent on the nature of the event.
  • Support the positive development and publicity of Empowr-U.
  • Agree to abide by a code of conduct and carry out duties in accordance with Empowr-U policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • UK Driver's License and ability to drive a car within the role.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to engage challenging groups of children and young people.
