Transport Planner

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Silver Arrow Recruitment. As a Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient delivery of goods nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and allocate nationwide deliveries to optimize routes and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory legislation and best practices in the transport industry.
- Monitor and evaluate driver behavior to ensure safety, legality, efficiency, and profitability.
- Manage day-to-day issues of the remote driver workforce, including welfare and pastoral matters.
- Collaborate with line managers to identify operational exceptions and implement solutions.
- CPC or Management CPC qualification.
- Proven experience in transport planning, logistics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills to optimize transport operations.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in transport planning software and tools.
- A competitive salary range of £38,000-£41,000 PA.
