Transport Planner Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team at Silver Arrow Recruitment. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and allocating nationwide deliveries, ensuring compliance with regulatory legislation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and allocate nationwide deliveries to optimize efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory legislation and best practices.
  • Manage day-to-day issues of the remote driver workforce, including welfare and pastoral matters.
  • Dynamic evaluation of operational decisions to improve group performance and customer experience.
  • Daily liaison with line managers to identify operational exceptions and implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • CPC or Management CPC qualification.
  • Proven experience in transport planning, logistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills to optimize transport operations.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in transport planning software and tools.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and demands in a dynamic environment.
