Job Summary:

Silver Arrow Recruitment is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team in Worsley. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and allocating nationwide deliveries, ensuring compliance with regulatory legislation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and allocation of nationwide deliveries
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory legislation and best practices
  • Managing day-to-day issues of the remote driver workforce, including welfare and pastoral matters
  • Dynamic evaluation of operational decisions that are likely to affect group performance and customer experience
  • Daily liaison with line managers to identify operational exceptions and implement solutions

Requirements:

  • CPC or Management CPC qualification
  • Proven experience in transport planning, logistics, or a related field
  • Strong ability to analyse data and trends to optimize transport operations
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in transport planning software and tools
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and demands in a dynamic environment
