Key Responsibilities:

  • Chasing drivers for outstanding paperwork when required
  • Day-to-day route planning and scheduling
  • Raising route notifications for the movement of loads
  • Promptly answering telephone calls within the department
  • Ensuring that all driver run sheets and relevant information are complete
  • General administrative tasks to provide support to the Operations team and deliver a high level of customer service

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Transport Planner. As a key member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling routes, chasing drivers for outstanding paperwork, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in route planning, preferably within a multi-drop delivery environment
  • Proven experience in a similar position
  • Full proficiency in MS Outlook and MS Office, particularly in Word and Excel
  • Desirable: experience using database systems
