We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Trade Carpenter to join our client's team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks, including reactive and planned repairs and maintenance, internal refurbishment projects, and external works.
Key Responsibilities:- Carrying out repairs to the fabric of a building and external works, including carpentry, hanging doors, skirting boards, architraves, patch plastering, painting, basic plumbing, brickwork, slabbing, and roofing.
- Independent working, as well as team working when needed across various sites.
- Travelling between multiple sites per day.
- Experience within reactive and planned maintenance within commercial settings.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Asbestos Awareness – desirable.
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
- Enhanced DBS to be taken prior to commencing the role.
- NVQ level 2 minimum in Carpentry.
- IT literate.
- High standard of work.
- Good communicator.
- A company van and fuel card.
- Work wear and PPE.
- A phone and tablet.
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Pension contribution.
- Opportunities for overtime, paid at a higher rate.
- On-call out 1 in every 6 weeks, with a £100 standby fee payment from door to door.
