About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CHP Engineer to join our team at WB Power Services Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Combined Heat and Power systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve service enquiries, breakdowns, and issues related to our CHP systems.
  • Perform fault diagnosis and rectification tasks to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Provide on-site support at multiple locations across a designated geographical area.
  • Utilize troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve complex system issues.
  • Accurately record and document all activities using our company's bespoke management system.
  • Adhere to our company's Health and Safety, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems.
  • Participate in the regional on-call rota to ensure 24/7 support.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure jobs are completed within budget and on time.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Combined Heat and Power systems, with a strong understanding of industrial gas applications.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment procedures and the ability to complete them accurately.
  • Previous experience in a mobile engineering role is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers via phone and in-person.
  • Previous experience with generators is a plus, but not essential.
  • Ability to interact with customers from diverse industries.
