Trade and Non-Trade Sales Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Trade and Non-Trade Sales Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.

The salary for this role is up to £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve business goals
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Providing high-quality customer service and support
  • Managing and processing orders, as well as managing some smaller accounts
  • Collaborating with the field sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Attending and providing organisational support at external events, such as book fairs and signings
  • Managing and distributing key sales materials, such as samples and POS, in a timely manner
  • Supporting sales managers with building submission grids, and collating of information

Requirements:

  • Strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with Power BI, Biblio and Vista is a plus, though training will be provided.
