Lead Project Professional - Delivery
Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Hybrid and flexible working options available)
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Project Professional to join our dynamic team in Barrow-in-Furness. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for leading the project management of the Jigs & Tools programme, working closely with an integrated project team to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the project management of the Jigs & Tools programme to support submarine-related projects.
- Working with an integrated project team, coordinating efforts across supply chain, quality, and engineering to ensure project success.
- Leading or supporting escalation reviews to resolve project challenges.
- Developing project delivery plans and performance metrics to support programme objectives.
- Ensuring value for money while managing schedule, cost, and risk from start to finish through risk and opportunity management.
- Collaborating closely with onsite teams and suppliers to ensure smooth and successful project execution.
- Responsible for supporting and implementing tailored project management practices for optimal outcomes.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience managing a variety of project deliveries across multiple customers.
- Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, etc.).

About the Jig and Tool Project Delivery Team: Our dynamic team delivers a wide range of jigs and tools, varying in complexity and cost, for multiple internal and external stakeholders. We ensure the on-time, budget-conscious delivery of these products, interfacing with Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Quality, and Build teams to meet the needs of high-profile programmes.
Relocation support is available for this role, subject to eligibility criteria.
