Project Manager Opportunity

£47 - £62.02 per hour

Morson Talent Careers is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to support construction projects for a prestigious defence client based in Barrow-in-Furness. The successful candidate will work across the major construction lifecycle, supporting new builds, renovations, and facilities management on site.

This is a full-time, 6-month contract role. We're looking for someone with experience of managing construction projects within a highly regulated industry such as Defence, Aerospace, or Nuclear. Site managers with experience of forecasting, budgeting, and reporting are also considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage contractors on site.
  • Advanced project reporting and scheduling.
  • Manage the construction lifecycle.
  • Manage risks to the success of the project.
  • Accountable for supporting development and implementation of appropriately tailored project management practices.
  • Manage a budget.

Requirements

  • Experience of managing construction projects.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
