Building Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Control Specialist to join our team at The Health and Safety Partnership Limited.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field and experience working with building regulations and legislation. Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
About the Role:
- Provide guidance on the Building Safety Act and Building Regulations
- Conduct plan reviews and design assessments to ensure compliance for Building Regulation submissions
- Attend client and design team meetings
- Deliver technical advice to clients, contractors, colleagues, developers, and key stakeholders
- Ensure project design is completed in line with current building regulations and legislation
- Maintain high-quality project outputs and deliverables
- Write reports including End of Design Stage Reports and Building Regulations Trackers
- Inspect properties and buildings at key stages of the design process
- Be aware of repeat and new business opportunities
- Assist with developing bid submissions and fee proposals
