About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and guidance to Foster Parents across Worcestershire, South Birmingham, and Coventry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular support and guidance to Foster Parents to ensure the well-being and safety of children in their care.
  • Conduct home visits and assessments to monitor the quality of care provided by Foster Parents.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans for Foster Parents to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting Foster Parents and children.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a child welfare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
