Foster Care Social Worker - Home Based Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Foster Care Social Worker to join our team in a home-based role, supporting Foster Parents across Worcestershire, South Birmingham, and Coventry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our Foster Parents, ensuring the best possible outcomes for children in care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide regular home visits and support to Foster Parents, assessing their needs and providing guidance and training as required.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Foster Parents, social workers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support for children in care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of Foster Parents' homes and environments to ensure they meet the needs of children in care.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children in care.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a Foster Care Social Worker, with a strong understanding of the needs of children in care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with Foster Parents and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address potential risks and challenges.
