We are seeking a highly skilled Perimeter Security Specialist to join our team at a large site for an international defence client. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of security standards to the required levels, going above and beyond to be a positive brand ambassador for Securitas.

About the Role:

  • Reporting to the onsite Supervisor, you will be based on a large site for an international defence client.
  • You will be responsible for securely guarding the property, including manning a static guardhouse.
  • Protecting company assets, visiting customers and employees of our client.
  • Carrying out patrols across a large facility, walking perimeters both internally and externally.
  • Remaining alert and vigilant to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manning a static guardhouse to ensure the secure entry and exit of personnel and vehicles.
  2. Patrolling the perimeter of the site to detect and deter any potential threats.
  3. Responding to incidents and reporting all faults, health, and safety hazards.
  4. Operating radios and physical security equipment used on site.

Essential Skills:

  • A current, valid SIA licence or be willing to obtain one through Securitas.
  • Due to National Security requirements of our client, you must have held British nationality for the last five years as a minimum.
  • Provide valid proof of right to work in the UK and pass security clearance.

Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £13.10 per hour.
  • A 42-hour per week contract, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours.

  • Able to work well individually and as part of a team.
  • Be prepared to work outside in all seasons.
