We are seeking a skilled Fire Compartmentation Specialist to join our team at Rhodar Specialist Enabling Works. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough fire compartmentation surveys across a variety of building types, including commercial, residential, and industrial.


Responsibilities:



  • Conducting fire compartmentation surveys to identify and assess fire-stopping issues, breaches in fire barriers, and compliance with fire safety regulations.
  • Preparing detailed reports, including recommendations for remediation and ensuring all work meets current fire safety standards.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and project managers to communicate findings and provide expert guidance on fire compartmentation solutions.
  • Ensuring all surveys are completed in line with current fire safety regulations and building codes.

About You:



  • Experience in compartmentation surveying is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience in fire compartmentation surveys and knowledge of relevant regulations.
  • Familiarity with survey recording software/apps/ systems such as OneTrace, Boris, Bolster, etc.
  • Strong understanding of passive fire protection systems, fire doors, and fire-stopping materials.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and handle multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for report writing and client interaction.
  • Full UK driving license.
