About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician - Electrical to join our team at Wilson Hospital in Mitcham. This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and wellbeing policies, as well as statutory regulations and approved codes of practice.
  • Deliver scheduled, reactive, and remedial maintenance services as directed by the PPM planner or Technical Services Supervisor.
  • Fault finding, minor repairs, or installations, and maintaining services and equipment within critical environments.
  • Assess problems to determine the best course of action and communicate technical information to various stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: At least one of the following:
  • Hold a BTEC City & Guilds qualification, relevant experience, and training.
  • Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Install or Electrical Maintenance.
  • Formal apprenticeship or craft-trained and registered Approved Electrician.
  • City & Guilds (18th edition) or current qualification to the latest standard of BS 7671 City & Guilds.
  • Additional Requirements:
  • Driving licence is essential.
  • Must be comfortable using technological devices to log jobs.
  • On-call availability.
  • Desirable to have industry experience.
