Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Verto People. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the preventative and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and repairs to electrical and mechanical equipment, predominantly technical plastic products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on injection moulding machines and related equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and prolong the life of machinery.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and upgrade of machinery, including automation and robotics systems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, parts replacement, and preventive measures.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and circuit diagrams to identify issues and implement repairs.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work with machine control systems.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), particularly in diagnosing and rectifying issues with automated machinery.
- Familiarity with Fanuc machinery systems and automation/robotics is a plus.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, preferably within the injection moulding industry is advantageous.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery, including control systems, wiring, and components.
