Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Special Education Support Assistant to join our team at a mainstream primary school in Middlesbrough.

Job Description

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with the right candidate expected to work from 8:30am – 3:30pm. Experience working in KS2 is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting pupils with SEND needs on a 1:1 basis
  • Liaising with the schools special needs co-ordinator to ensure pupils' needs are met
  • Working within education health care plans
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a relevant qualification in SEND or Teaching Assistant - desirable. They will also have experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting and be confident working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis.
