Job Summary
Equiniti, a leading international provider of shareholder, pension, remediation, and credit technology, is seeking a skilled Pensions Administrator to join its Bulk Purchase Annuity team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the accurate and compliant administration of pension records for clients and pension scheme members.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administration services to customers, working to agreed targets and putting the member experience at the heart of every transaction.
- Interpret and apply Trustee membership movements to the insured population during buy-in administration.
- Complete and check casework, providing feedback and resolving customer enquiries (oral and written).
- Collate and escalate Trustee and client enquiries (oral and written) and draft non-standard correspondence in response.
- Collate and analyze data, producing routine reports and performing and issuing pension calculations, including manual calculations.
- Check and review Trustee's pension calculation during buy-in administration and carry out projects and ad-hoc activities as determined by your Team Leader.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and procedures.
- Strong communication skills and a strong desire to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ability to develop positive and productive working relationships with internal stakeholders, Trustee administrators, and client stakeholders.
- Computer literate with a willingness to learn a variety of systems and strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Previous experience of Defined Benefits Pensions is preferred, and knowledge of Bulk Purchase Annuities is desirable.
