About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Leader to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex life science projects in the UK.

The Challenge:

Your Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for Mace's value of safety first and maintain exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in local health and safety rules and regulations relevant to the project portfolio.
  • Work collaboratively with the construction delivery team, taking direction from the construction lead and project senior leadership team.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients and support the construction lead in turning their vision into a deliverable onsite plan.
  • Liaise with and take direction from the project package managers regarding programme and critical path works in the area.
  • Monitor and report detailed planned vs actual data for all works within your area, escalating deviations to construction leadership when necessary.
  • Promote and drive business priorities through construction to production, digital & data, and responsible business practices.
  • Collaborate towards net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for proactively identifying and managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during delivery.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have experience delivering life science or healthcare projects in the UK, good understanding of building regulations, and specific LS and HO approvals. Proven experience with complex projects is essential.

What We Offer:

ENGINEERINGUK offers a competitive salary of £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including pension scheme, annual leave, and professional development opportunities.
