Enzymatic Depolymerisation Expert

We are seeking an Enzymatic Depolymerisation Expert to join our team at Epoch Biodesign. The successful candidate will have a strong background in polymer science and organic chemistry, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

• Lead and support efforts in scaling up polymer-based processes from laboratory to pilot-scale production, ensuring seamless transition and efficiency.
• Manage and carry out experiments and trials for internal pipeline development programmes.
• Produce weekly reports on projects and input materials testing.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with a background in Polymer Science.
• At least 3 years proven industrial experience in a production or manufacturing environment, in roles directly related to polymer science, synthesis, or production.
• Proficiency in utilizing analytical instruments and techniques specific to polymer science (e.g., HPLC, GC-MS).

The salary for this position is estimated to be between £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, the successful candidate will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including 30 days paid holiday, meaningful EMI Share Options, and a non-contributory pension of 9% employer contribution.
