Job Opportunity: Climate Action Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Climate Action Trainer to join our team at The National Trust. As a key member of our Climate Action programme, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our Climate Action development plan over the next 12 months.

About the Role

This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract or potential Secondment opportunity. You will be working closely with our Climate Action programme team to help facilitate our new leadership programme and design resources across our different platforms for our staff and volunteers. You will be required to work at a National Trust location for 40-60% of your working week, with flexibility on where you are based at other times.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering excellent leadership and team interventions aligned to our climate action principles
Supporting our new leadership development programme and developing our learning resources that build climate confidence in our staff and volunteers
Building highly effective and collaborative working relationships as a trusted adviser, whose credibility and experience drives performance and always adds value

What We're Looking For

Experience in working on Climate Action or sustainability, making climate-related information accessible and empowering others to take action
Experience in delivering a great candidate experience through your facilitation and training skills
Experience in designing and delivering high quality blended learning across different methods which helps people learn at the point of need
Experience in building effective & collaborative working relationships, working with multiple stakeholders
Experience of working in a team to deliver projects
