SEN Teaching Assistant

Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities to meet the needs of students with SEN.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment that fosters inclusivity and respect.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) that cater to the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the development of effective learning strategies.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
- A patient, empathetic, and positive attitude, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
