About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Deputy Care Home Manager to join our team at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. As a Deputy Care Home Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day running of the wards, ensuring high standards of care are maintained across the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee domiciliary care and support ward managers in compliance with legislation
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a high-performing team
  • Assist with care plan assessments and ensure the highest standards of care are delivered
  • Work closely with the Medical Centre and Therapies Team for effective clinical case management
  • Deputise for the Registered Manager and participate in the on-call Duty Matron rota

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is an independent, managed, living accommodation and registered care home to 300 veterans of the British Army. Our aim is to provide each Chelsea Pensioner with safe, well-led, and dignified person-centred care and promote active aging.
