The role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including prison services, national probation service, and other healthcare providers. You will be responsible for developing and implementing services that meet the needs of the patient population, while maintaining clinical efficacy and ensuring the service is competitive as a provider of choice to local commissioners.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate a high-quality, safe, effective, and efficient service to meet the needs of the patient population across the prison establishment.
- Demonstrate innovative practice, while collaboratively working with multiple stakeholders, maintaining clinical efficacy, enabling the service to compete as a provider of choice to local commissioners.
- Develop and implement services that meet the needs of the patient population, while maintaining clinical efficacy and ensuring the service is competitive as a provider of choice to local commissioners.
- Provide supervision, clinical expertise, and advice to ensure the delivery of effective clinical and psycho-social management of patients.
- Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, including prison services, national probation service, and other healthcare providers.
- Degree in a related field, e.g., nursing, medicine, or a related field.
- RCGP2 or willingness to achieve this.
- Experience of managing teams and substance misuse services.
- Experience of performance management.
- Experience of developing services.
- Extensive experience of working within clinical and psychosocial substance misuse services.
