About the Role

A postdoctoral research associate position is available at King's College London, funded by the EPSRC Programme Grant Next Generation Metamaterials. The successful candidate will work on an internationally leading research project, collaborating with partners at Imperial College London and the University of Exeter.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research in photonic technologies and novel nanomaterials to address modern challenges in photonic and quantum technologies.
  • Supervise PhD and MSc students working on relevant topics with the project.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research and development, with expertise in nanofabrication, laser science, nonlinear optics, sensing, advanced imaging techniques, and numerical modelling.

What We Offer

We offer a fixed term contract until 31/03/2028, a competitive salary of £40,000-£50,000 per annum, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
