Project Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Airfield Engineering Asset Project Manager to oversee a wide range of projects, from inception to completion. The successful candidate will work closely with our Capital Projects Manager to strategize and execute capital investments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review project objectives and define the full scope of work, ensuring all necessary specifications are met for tender submission.
  • Conduct a fair tender process for project proposal, handling terms and conditions and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage budget and timeline for smooth project implementation.
  • Expertly manage project risks, including scheduling and resolving conflicts.
  • Review and approve RAMS and conduct required training to manage onsite work, including issuing work permits and overseeing high-risk activities.
  • Efficiently complete project closure, summarizing benefits and achievements post-completion, and obtaining necessary sign-off from relevant bodies.

Requirements
  • Hold a recognized Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
  • Ability to demonstrate keeping up to date in field of expertise.
  • Hold a recognized Project Management qualification.
  • Experience working in Engineering, FMCG, or Construction.
