Project Manager - Airfield Engineering

We are currently resourcing this role through our internal Talent Acquisition Team and PSL partners only.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project objectives and define the full scope of work, ensuring all the necessary specifications required for the tender submission are met.
  • Conduct a fair tender process for the project proposal, taking charge of the terms and conditions and handling contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, managing the budget and timeline for smooth project implementation.
  • Expertly manage project risks, including scheduling and resolving any conflicts that may arise.
  • Review and approve RAMS and conduct the required training to manage onsite work, including issuing of work permits and overseeing high-risk activities in compliance with legislation and Weetabix policies.
  • Efficiently complete the project closure, summarising the benefits and achievements post-completion, and obtaining the necessary sign-off from relevant bodies to comply with UK legislation.
Requirements:
  • Ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise.
  • Experience of working in Engineering, FMCG, or Construction.
