Senior/Principal Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior/Principal Civil Engineer to join our Manchester office and lead the design of civil infrastructure across a range of projects within the Grid & Energy Storage market.

About the Role

As a Senior/Principal Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of civils design packages, including alignment/earthworks design, highways improvement design, and drainage design. You will work closely with our clients, including SSE, EDF, Scottish Power, and UK Power Networks, to deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of civils design packages
  • Develop and implement design strategies to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to junior engineers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Chartered Engineer with ICE or IHT
  • Proven experience in civil engineering design and project management
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
