Principal Civil Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at Scantec Personnel Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert civil and structural advice, conducting analysis, and preparing reports and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide civil and structural advice, perform analysis, and prepare calculations, reports, and specifications.
  • Lead small projects and sub-tasks, taking full technical responsibility.
  • Communicate designs clearly to BIM teams, construction personnel, and stakeholders.
  • Implement and challenge value engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with BIM teams, other disciplines, construction personnel, and stakeholders to communicate designs effectively.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, while also driving value engineering solutions.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience within the nuclear industry, covering all stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Minimum of BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • CSCS certification required.
