We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Assessor to join our team at The Solution Automotive Limited. As a Motor Vehicle Assessor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of motor inspections, using state-of-the-art technology to evaluate and audit estimates before authorising repairs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough motor inspections using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Evaluate and audit estimates to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Negotiate settlements for motor vehicles, directly liaising with customers.
  • Work within agreed timeframes and business parameters to meet the needs of the company.
  • Communicate effectively with repairers, business partners, and suppliers to ensure smooth processing of claims and optimal engineering outcomes.
  • Conduct audits to assess repairer performance, providing recommendations on repair quality, costs, and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Member of either IAEA / IMI / IRTE / ATA / VDA is essential.
  • 2 years of Motor Claims knowledge, including a basic understanding of insurance principles, is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of computerised damage estimating systems, including Audatex, is essential.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
  • Positive and self-confident approach when dealing with customers is essential.
  • PC literate with good administrative skills is essential.
  • Ability to take on increased ownership and responsibility when necessary is essential.
