Job Title: Interim Billing Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Interim Billing Specialist to join our client's finance team on a 6-month contract. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the revenue streams are on track and that overdue debt is collected and reported accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Taking personal ownership for both credit control and billings, and reporting to the Revenue Accountant and the Finance Director
  • Day to day credit responsibilities, producing weekly debtor reports and reconciling movements
  • Negotiating payment plans where needed, and dealing with all billing issues etc
  • Sending invoices out to clients and chasing unpaid invoices
  • Liaising with customers and building strong relationships
  • Maintaining the UK sales ledger and ensure all bookings are posted on time and accurately
  • Forecasting customer receipts for cash-flow
  • Contributing towards improving existing systems and processes to improve both credit control and AR processes
  • Assisting with all reconciliations
  • Preparing the sales ledger information for forth-coming audits and assisting with the Year-End processes
  • Ownership of customer invoicing process for the UK entity
  • Daily work on proforma invoices and customer deposits
  • Helping with ensuring that upstream processes have been completed to ensure a streamlined invoicing process
  • Allocating payments from customers in an accurate and timely manner

Requirements:

  • Meticulous attention to detail and an inquiring mind
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to confidently liaise with various departments and stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to provide industry-leading customer service to internal and external customers
  • Understanding of international banking (e.g. intermediary bank fees, foreign currency)
  • NetSuite and SalesForce experience advantageous
  • Intermediate Excel - Pivot Tables, V Look ups,etc
  • Previous UK experience and you must currently be a UK resident
