Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at Minerals Technologies Inc. in the UK.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of sales, driving profitable growth, and maintaining good working relationships with existing customers and key accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To support the business unit strategy, driving profitable growth through effective sales and marketing efforts.
  2. Regularly communicate sales opportunities and work to develop the portfolio of customers, growing and developing business by understanding their needs.
  3. Maintain and utilize Salesforce database for opportunity tracking, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  4. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, commercial, and operational teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales plans.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years proven sales experience working in a target-driven environment.
  • Highly proficient IT skills in the use of Microsoft Office, together with experience of using a CRM system e.g. Salesforce, as a management tool.
  • Strong business acumen, resilience, drive, and talent to help grow the business.

Benefits:

  • An attractive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
