Adolescent Social Worker Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Social Worker to join our Integrated Adolescent Service in Kent County Council. As a key member of our team, you will provide intensive support to adolescents and their families, empowering them to develop effective long-term solutions to manage their family relationships and overcome the risks associated with adolescence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assessment, children in need, child protection, contextual harm, Court work, and rehabilitation home services to adolescents and their families.
- Work collaboratively with key partners, including Housing, Education, Health, and the Police, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting young people.
- Develop and implement trauma-informed approaches to support adolescents and their families, including evidenced-based training in case formulation and contextual safeguarding.
- Contribute to the development of new initiatives and working groups, sharing knowledge and experience with the team.
We are looking for a qualified Social Worker with a degree in social work (CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent) and registration with Social Work England. You will have experience working with children and families, with a strong understanding of legislative and policy frameworks. You will be a team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn and develop as a practitioner.
