Ashton Recruitment is seeking multiple HGV 2 Drivers for our successful client based at Nutts Corner. We welcome applicants who have just passed their HGV test and have no prior experience.


**Job Details:**

* Position: HGV 2 Drivers - No Experience Required
* Location: Nutts Corner
* Duration: Temporary (Permanent positions may arise and applications are internal)
* Rate of Pay: £13.19 to £14.00 per hour
* Hours of Work: 10-hour shifts

**Shift Schedule:**

* Start times will vary between 12am and 5am
* Shifts are based on a 3 week rotation
* Monday to Thursday
* Wednesday to Saturday
* Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday

Drivers must be flexible with start times and able to work all shifts required.

**Responsibilities:**

* Conduct daily maintenance checks and report any defects immediately
* Check all products and highlight any damaged products or movements in transit immediately
* Ensure full compliance with the highway code and road safety legislation at all times
* Unload deliveries per customer instruction and check contents against delivery manifest
* Complete deliveries in a timely and safely manner
* Check all collections properly before signing collection documentation
* Ensure all administration is in order
* Assist with general warehouse and yard housekeeping
* Return failed deliveries/damages/returns promptly to the warehouse, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed
* Liaise with delivery helper when making deliveries
* Adhere to all health and safety procedures as set out by the company

**Essential Criteria:**

* Valid UK Category C Driving Licence (HGV 2)
* Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph
