Teaching Opportunity with Smile Education

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Teacher to join our team at a school in the Oldham and Rochdale area. This role is ideal for Newly Qualified Teachers, PGCE Graduates, or Early Career Teachers looking for a flexible and rewarding experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects and key stages, ensuring students remain on track with their learning
  • Follow lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all students, creating a positive and productive learning environment
  • Maintain effective behaviour management, ensuring all students are engaged and adhering to school policies
  • Work flexibly, stepping into classrooms as needed and collaborating with other staff members to support the wider school community
  • Provide feedback on student progress and any issues encountered during lessons
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), NQT, PGCE, or ECT status
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different learning environments
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and a commitment to maintaining high standards of education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and a positive, proactive attitude to covering lessons across various subjects
