Cover People UK is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Education Support Assistants. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in primary and secondary schools across Rochdale, supporting teachers and students in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and classroom management
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop an interest in a particular subject
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • BSc or equivalent, MSc or PhD OR Certificate of Education
  • A passion for education and working with young people
  • Confidence to supervise and manage classrooms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Cover People UK
