Job Title: IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to join our team at Skills Alliance.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, support, and administration of operational technology (OT) systems critical to our biopharmaceutical laboratories and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, support, and administer OT hardware, software, and infrastructure
  • Ensure seamless integration with PC systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive proactive solutions and address issues promptly
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies relevant to the biopharmaceutical industry OT and manufacturing
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and support the team in guiding the organisation on how best to implement these innovations
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in IT design, build, and operational support
  • ~3+ years in a similar role, supporting systems in a laboratory or manufacturing environment, ideally in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Hands-on experience with IT infrastructure, networking, Active Directory (AD), and Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of Windows-based OT environments and storage solutions
  • Agile and responsive, with the ability to adapt quickly to shifting priorities
